The B&B "Il Girasole" is 6 Km far from Fluminimaggiore, and 2 Km far from the beautiful beach Portixeddu.
The B&B is 200 meters far from the road SP 83 (Fluminimaggiore – Buggerru).
The land is rich in disused mines, which are an important heritage of our industrial archaeology:
starting from Arenas until Buggerru, through Candiazzus, Su Zurfuru, Santa Lucia, Galleria Henry, Planu Sartu etc...
You will find many charming places.

Up north in Portixeddu you can easily reach both Capo Pecora, a beautiful headland with granitic shingles on the seashore, and the beautiful bone-white beach Scivu.
Proceeding north you will also find the famous sand dune beach Piscinas, and the Ingurtosu mine.

Most beautiful beaches:
San Nicolò Portixeddu, Buggerru, the big and the small Cala Domestica beaches.
Moreover it’s worth visiting:
the Ethnographic Museum, Antas temple, Su Mannau caves, Pubusinu springs and the age-old secular Pine.
The nature lovers can have organized hikes, treks, can go horseriding or have mountain bike rides.
